Small Towns. Big Passions.

Clay County was officially made a county on December 31, 1858. Named for American statesman Henry Clay, Clay County was formerly a part of Duval County. Its population spans more than 230,000. The county includes the municipalities of Green Cove Springs, Penney Farms, Orange Park, and Keystone Heights. Clay County has a rich military history, and is home to the 73,000-acre Camp Blanding Training Facility.

Clay County spans 644 square miles and embodies a deep-rooted sense of family and values. The task of running the county and providing services to its residents doesn’t just fall to the Clay County Board of County Commissioners solely. Below is a breakdown of other county agencies and organizations that directly benefit the people who call it home.
