Clay County Regional Park fieldThe Clay County Regional Sports Complex sits on 250 acres of land near Belmore State Forest. It is the first of its kind in Clay County and has eight multipurpose fields that will promote sports for both youth and adults, while also bringing tournaments to the area.

Multiple rectangular sports, including soccer, lacrosse, flag football, field hockey, spike ball, and ultimate frisbee can be played on the fields. Initially, field usage is for scheduled tournaments only, and the public is welcome to use the walking trail through the park. We plan to allow recreational practices on the fields during the weekdays in the future for local teams.

RENDERING OF PHASE 1The development of the sports complex is taking place in phases. The County received $3 million in legislative matching funds and an additional $2.5 million in legislative appropriations in 2023. County leaders broke ground on March 28, 2023.
