The GIS Department is responsible for the creation and maintenance of geographic data for the County. This includes data related to infrastructure such as streets, ponds, storm water features as well as administrative boundaries for municipal limits, commissioner districts, zoning, planning, public safety response, etc. Our staff utilizes this location-based information to generate maps and perform analyses that aid in decision making by end users.
