Emergency Management is a mandated function of the County government in compliance with Florida Statute Chapter 252 and Administrative Rule 27P. The Emergency Management Division is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing countywide disaster response, recovery, mitigation, risk reduction, prevention, and preparedness planning.
